Dropbox Integration

Transforming Radiology across broders

If you’ve ever thought of sharing medical images using Dropbox you are not alone. Dropbox is one of the most popular file sharing services and is on millions of desktop computers around the world.

Our state-of-the-art RADSpa allows users to store, view and share DICOM files (X-rays, CT scans, Ultrasounds and MRIs) securely in the cloud. This feature gives users the ability to share imaging studies across healthcare organizations, with patients or with referring physicians. The DICOM Viewer allows users to view DICOM files on any web browser or mobile device. This new functionality helps to improve interoperability and care coordination in healthcare by securely housing clinical imaging studies in the cloud so they can be viewed and shared at the point of care.

Hospitals can use Dropbox to upload DICOM images without even logging into the RADSpa® portal. A “AE title” folder will be shared with the hospital and the technicians (or other users) in the hospital can drag-n-drop the DICOM studies to Dropbox folder.

That study will be immediately available in the RADSpa® worklist. In the patient portal, once patients allow access to the portal for a certain chosen folder, the contents of the folder will be uploaded to the patient’s account automatically.
